I'm a senior web developer in Austin, and the founder of Anne Schmidt Co. After a first career in finance, I've spent more than a decade helping nonprofits, associations, and growing businesses get websites that work hard, stay accessible, and fit the budget.
How I got here
My path to web development wasn't a straight line, and that's turned out to be an advantage.
Years in finance taught me to scope work carefully, explain numbers clearly, and respect a budget. I bring that to every project, alongside more than a decade of hands-on development.
Off the clock: I live in Austin with my husband, two kids, and two dogs. You'll find me on my Peloton, reading, or catching up on reality TV.

I taught myself HTML building a Geocities site, then life took me in a different direction.
