The challenge
Recruiting for drilling platforms is uniquely challenging, with companies losing 8 out of 10 workers within the first month. Drilling Hands needed a platform that could streamline the hiring process and help both workers and employers connect efficiently.
The approach
The platform serves two audiences: rig workers creating profiles and drilling companies searching for qualified candidates. A credit-based system lets employers purchase access to worker contact information, creating a sustainable business model.
The solution
A custom WordPress marketplace with WooCommerce for credit purchases, a searchable worker database powered by FacetWP, custom user registration via Gravity Forms, and Twilio SMS alerts to notify workers of new opportunities.
