Rescue & Speed

WordPress website rescue and speed fixes

Your site is broken after an update, hacked, painfully slow, or your last developer stopped answering. I'll stabilize it, find the cause, and fix it, with the price agreed before I start.

The Fit

Who it's for

  • Sites showing errors or a blank page after a plugin or WordPress update

  • Hacked sites, spam redirects or malware warnings

  • Slow sites that fail Google's Core Web Vitals on mobile

  • Sites whose developer disappeared, or DIY and AI-built sites that broke

Deliverables

What you get

  • A full backup before anything is touched

  • Diagnosis of the root cause, not just the symptom

  • Repairs, malware cleanup, and security hardening

  • Speed work: images, caching, scripts, plugins, and hosting configuration

  • Before-and-after Lighthouse and Core Web Vitals scores

  • Handoff notes explaining what was wrong and how to prevent it

Anne! My goodness, how I needed someone like you to work on my project. I'm a one-man team, and all the design ideas I have are my own, so I was bound to come up with a few I didn't like. And I had to troubleshoot issues either by myself or with a kind, communicative, intelligent designer like Anne. Thank you so much for what you've done for Independent Book Review. It means the world.

FAQ

Common questions

Email me with the URL and what happened. I reply within one business day, and I schedule urgent rescues ahead of planned work.

I take a full backup of files and the database before touching anything, so the site can always be returned to where it was.

Usually a WordPress admin login and hosting access. I'll send a simple checklist, and I recommend creating separate accounts for me that you can remove later.

The usual causes are oversized images, too many plugins, a heavy page builder, no caching, and underpowered hosting. A Speed Sprint measures which of these matter on your site and fixes those first.

Often, yes. I work with Elementor, Divi, Beaver Builder, and the block editor, and I'll tell you honestly if a rebuild would cost less than a repair.
